Salted Caramel Doughnuts

Salted Caramel Vegan Doughnuts Recipe:


Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: ~10 minutes
Yields: 8


Ingredients for Doughnuts:

  • 10 tbsp. self raising flour
  • 2.5 tbsp. baking powder
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 12 tbsp. soya milk
  • 8 tbsp. water
  • 4 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1.5 tbsp. salted caramel extract

Ingredients for Icing:

  • 3 tbsp. melted coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp. soya milk
  • 200g icing sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp. salted caramel extract

Method for Doughnuts:

  1. Pre-heat oven 180*C (fan oven)
  2. Grease your doughnut tray
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and spoon the mixture into the tray
  4. Bake for 10 minutes
  5. Add icing if you want… (I topped with mint oreos too)

Method for Icing:

  1. Whisk ingredients until combined
  2. Dip the cooled donuts into the mixture
  3. Set for about 10 minutes in the fridge
  4. ENJOY!
