Scrambled Tofu

Vegan Scrambled Tofu Recipe:

Time to Make: 10 minutes
Yields: 2 large/4 small side portions


  • 400g of tofu (drained – I used firm tofu, but silken will also work)
  • 1 tbsp. turmeric
  • 2 tbsp. cumin
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. reduced salt soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Swartz ‘Season-all’
  • Salt and pepper as desired


  • 3 peppers – sliced
  • Bunch of spring onions – sliced
  • 100g mushrooms – sliced
  • 100g cherry tomatoes – halved


  1. Scramble the tofu up into small uneven pieces, pop in a bowl and add the seasoning ingredients
  2. Mix completely and set to one side
  3. In the mean time, fry the vegetables (I fried in a little oil) for about 5 minutes until soft
  4. Add the tofu to the veggies and fry (stir often) for a further 5 minutes until it starts to crisp
  5. Serve and enjoy!
