Sweet Potato Dog Cookies

Vegan Sweet Potato Dog Cookie (suitable for humans too) Recipe:


Prep Time: ~ 5 minutes
Cook  Times: ~ 30 minutes
Yields: ~ 20 cookies (depends on the size and shape you make them)
Storage: Sealed container


Ingredients:

  • 150g sweet potato (cooked)
  • 150g rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp. water

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180*C (fan-oven)
  2. Grind the oats in a food processor until a flour has formed
  3. Add the coconut oil (melted) and sweet potato and blend again until combined
  4. Add the water a tbsp. at a time, then blend again – a dough should have formed
  5. Roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter to cut them into your desired shape (I put mine into a mini doughnut tray and rolled the rest into small balls)
  6. Cook for 25-30 minutes until browned
  7. Leave to cool on a cooling rack
  8. Then give to your pooch to enjoy!

  • Improves the skin, coat and digestion
  • Reduces allergic reactions
